FACTS consists of 4 sets of slides and hand-outs. The first set covers Europe's integration over the past 50 years. The second and largest set, comprising 19 slides, describes how the EU's central banks are organised. The remaining slides, divided into two areas, cover monetary policy and the euro banknotes and coins.
For a preview, choose a topic on the left-hand side.
Click on one of the 4 FACTS topics on the left-hand side. This will open the online preview, displaying the individual slides plus the explanatory text for each. To obtain a hand-out, simply print the respective page by using the printer function in your web browser. The page will automatically switch to a print-friendly layout.
Unlike the slides, the hand-outs can only be printed individually, not as a complete set. This page-wise arrangement makes updating the FACTS in 22 languages somewhat easier. We apologise for any inconvenience.
