The Monetary Policy Stance Division in the Directorate Monetary Policy of the European Central Bank (ECB) will host a central banking workshop on ‘The Analysis of money market: role, challenges and implications from the monetary policy perspective’, which will be held on 14 - 15 November 2007 in Frankfurt am Main.
The study of the money market yield curve covers a broad range of topics as reflected by the large number of related papers, both theoretical and empirical, in the literature. The workshop will bring together central bankers, leading international researchers and practitioners interested and involved in the money market analysis.
To that end, the workshop organizers are inviting paper submission on issues related to the analysis of the money market in connection to the conduct of monetary policy. Specifically, the submission of research papers covering the following themes is especially encouraged:
Submission of an elaborated draft or at a minimum an extended abstract with a comprehensive description of the scope of the paper (in Word or pdf format) should be made electronically to natalia.trindade@ecb.int and alain.durre@ecb.int at the Monetary Policy Assessment and Implementation Unit in the Monetary Policy Stance Division of the ECB. Each submitted paper should nominate a corresponding author and include the contact information (name, affiliation, telephone and email address).
