2011 Technical workshops on the provision of loan-level data

The European Central Bank, in cooperation with the national central banks of the Eurosystem, is scheduling a series of technical workshops to facilitate future compliance with the new reporting requirements.

The purpose of these workshop sessions is to provide market participants with information regarding the specific features of the loan-level data initiative and to explain and answer questions relating to the reporting templates. This will also help – well in advance of the introduction of the new loan-level information requirements – to identify any areas in which these requirements are not complied with as regards data availability, internal processes and IT systems. Participants will be provided with practical examples of data compilation which deal with the various elements of the reporting templates, together with an update on the data verification procedures planned by the Eurosystem.

The workshops will be held in the following cities on the following dates:

• 21 October in Paris, in cooperation with the Banque de France
• 24 October in Dublin, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Ireland
• 27 October in Frankfurt am Main, in cooperation with the Deutsche Bundesbank
• 28 October in Brussels, in cooperation with the Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique;
• 31 October in Amsterdam, in cooperation with De Nederlandsche Bank
• 2 November in Lisbon, in cooperation with the Banco de Portugal
• 3 November in Madrid, in cooperation with the Banco de España
• 4 November in Milan, in cooperation with the Banca d’Italia
