The publication entitled "List of Monetary Financial Institutions in the acceding countries" consists of two parts:

• The overview contains the foreword, definitions of terms and various analyses of the MFI sector.
• The list of MFIs contains information on all MFIs resident in the individual acceding countries as at end-December 2006.
• The list refers only to Romania and Bulgaria, acceding countries as from 25 April 2005.
