As part of the 2006 CULTURAL DAYS OF THE EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANK, from 18 October to 14 November, a series of more than 40 events offered a sample of the cultural wealth of our showcase country, Austria, through the works of some of its finest artists, selected in cooperation with the Oesterreichische Nationalbank. These included concerts by the Attersee Institute Orchestra in collaboration with members of the Vienna Philharmonic, by Rudolf Buchbinder and the Camerata Salzburg and by the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra, as well as readings, productions, performances, an excellent film series, exhibitions, lectures and, as every year, the ECB Annual Photography Award.
